HAURATON at the start by Formula 1 circuit

RECYFIX®HICAP® TYPE G: THE FIRST SLOTTED CHANNEL MADE FROM DUCTILE IRON
The challenging racing circuit is being constructed over an area of 170 hectares, and will be 5.55 km long. The new channel system has been specially developed for the special requirements of Formula 1 racing: RECYFIX HICAP type G channel. The advantages of this first slotted channel made from ductile iron with a PE-PP channel body were the decisive criteria for the placement of the order. The drainage channels can withstand extremely high levels of dynamic loading, and work in a safe and reliable way. At the same time they must also tolerate the tremendous suction force that is caused by the high speed of the racing cars. The RECYFIX HICAP type G channels that are used on the racing circuit do not just meet safety requirements, but also act as a waste water channel along the circuit with their high level of hydraulic performance. The channels take in surface water, transport it over long distances and lead it to a point in the main water channel.

CHANNEL INSTALLATION HAS STARTED
The construction work is progressing on a daily basis at the large construction site. Not only is the route of the circuit becoming apparent, but the buildings and the harbour facility are starting to take shape. The laying of the first drainage channels on the long straights between the “north and west grandstands” recently started on the circuit. The construction companies on the site will be installing more than 10 km of RECYFIX HICAP and a similar quantity of FASERFIX SUPER during the coming months. Some of this will also be used as temporary cable ducting. The installation situation has been specially adapted to the special situation and the climatic conditions.
