Increasing soil sealing reduces the natural infiltration of rainwater and places a strain on drainage systems. The aim of sustainable rainwater management is therefore to reduce surface runoff and allow water to infiltrate on-site wherever possible.

RECYFIX GRID offers permeable ground grids for surface paving that combine soil unsealing with load-bearing capacity. This allows even rarely or periodically used traffic areas to be functionally paved without disrupting the natural water cycle. At the same time, the burden on the sewerage system is reduced and a contribution is made to mitigating urban heat island effects.
