Rainfall input and UK Rainfall Map integration

The hydraulic design tool incorporates a UK Rainfall Map, which uses data from the ‘Flood Studies Report’ with rainfall intensity options in mm/h, l/s*Ha and l/s*m2. Users have the options for return period, storm duration and climate change giving accurate linear drainage designs.

Channel sizing

DesignSoftware has the flexibility for construction professionals to create linear drainage designs using any digital device. It has accurate, precise analysis and channel sizing with the design methodology independently tested and validated.

Hydraulic calculations based on widely used ‘Modified-Manning-Strickler’ formula. Hydraulic discharge provided on a free outflow basis.

Channel drainage systems

Accommodates HAURATON’s core range of linear drainage systems for total design flexibility (from civils, commercial, landscape and other project types). Includes all channel types and depths that are available.

Project specification

Automatic generation of project documents for specification support including hydraulic analysis, materials list and information datasheets available.
